FIND A WELL OF INSPIRATION AND SET DIRECTION FOR YOUR DAY

In order to motivate ourselves we need our decisions to be affirmations of our values and goals. It is extremely important to reflect on the reasons that make us stronger to achieve something and allow us to maintain the interest and never give up in optimizing the outcomes. Ask yourself why you should do specific things and turn tasks into meaningful decisions.

Inspiration and motivation can come from many places—books, music, emails, other people. All you have to do is find the one or ones that resonate most with you and commit to engaging with them. Daily. Another way to get inspired involves repeating positive affirmations.

Action Plan

REMEMBER: Every day:

Take five minutes to choose one positive affirmation or motivational quote and write down on a sheet of paper. What do we aim to achieve? The goal of all this is to establish routines of good habits that we go through at various points. The main goal is to help you to find a word or phrase that is empowering and motivating to you and repeat it over and over again to yourself.

i. DAY 1.- Write down one positive affirmation or one motivational quote. Note: Think about your goals, your desires, your needs, your professional plans…

ii. DAY 2.- Write down another positive affirmation or motivational quote. What inspirational sources do you have? Do you think about your co-workers, your friends, your family, your goals etc.?

iii. DAY 3.- Write down another positive affirmation or motivational quote and think about what motivate you the most.

iv. DAY 4.- Take a look at the previous three days. Are the quotes or affirmations similar? What inspired you the most? Why? Do you feel that you can find motivation and inspiration even when it does not seem possible? Can you recognize how important it is to be self-motivated?
