How did you get in contact with the 40 Challenges Project?
I found out about 40 Challenges project when I have got request to participate in the testing phase of the project’s product. At the beginning I was quite skeptical due to many activities however later on I agreed to participate in the test because it looked interesting for my business.
What Soft Skills where more attractive for you?
I run a beauty salon and I have to manage both staff and also customers’ demands. The two most attractive modules for my business and for me personally are listening capacity and customer service. Those two skills are necessary to use in my daily work.
How many Challenges were you able to fulfill?
Due to my limited time I have executed five challenges. It were listening capacity technics and customer service – all challenges. Those challenges are very useful and, in some cases can present the problems which you are not aware.
What concrete results did you get implementing these Challenges?
I and my team read carefully all challenges mentioned above and we started to change our approach to customers. Implementing methods provided in he challenges we started to listen more carefully our customers and also change our approach to customers. As a result of implementation of those technics we started to hear more often that something has been changed in this salon however customers cannot specify in details what is that. However they notice positive change. Moreover, we expect that number of new customers will increase. So far we cannot see it yet because of the virus circumstances and lockdown however we will observe it and, if necessary implement other challenges.
Do you think your work as an entrepreneur will improve?
I am sure that, due to implementation of the technics learned from the project our business will increase. As mentioned above we have been locked for few weeks due to the epidemic however we started to work again and for sure we will do our best to use those technics in real life and we will observe how it works.
Would you recommend the 40 Challenges Project to others? Why?
I would recommend all this training content to people doing own business (different skill depend on the kind of business) because sometimes we, as a businessman, are too busy to notice that something is getting in wrong direction, and sometimes when we notice it – it is too late. As an example I can provide wrong approach to the customer by some staff. It is enough one of the staff is doing wrong things and the number of customers is getting down. So to keep highest possible quality and keep proper development it is necessary to learn permanently.
